The image above is a screenshot from level 1 of the modified Angry Birds game. The game is set in outer space and the player takes control of the protagonist aliens to destroy the antagonist aliens. The player makes use of a slingshot mechanic that allows the player to launch the protagonist aliens at the enemy. This game was created as a second-year assignment for WSOA2006A. The aim of the assignment was to gain technical competence in re-creating the Angry Birds game. The player must right-click on the protagonist avatar, aim, and release the right-click to launch. The player has a limited number of attempts with different aliens. Each alien has unique characteristics such as speed, explosion effects and maximum distance. Furthermore, the pillars on which the enemies stand on have different strength factors. The level is completed once the player destroys all the green aliens.
